1. Information Collection and Use
Fast PDF Reader is designed with a "Privacy First" and "Local First" philosophy. Most of the data generated by the App stays on your device. Fast PDF Reader does not upload PDF documents to VeeiQ's servers for storage, analysis, or PDF processing. A. Information You Provide Fast PDF Reader does not require an account for its core PDF reading features. We may receive your email address and the information you choose to provide if you contact us for support. We do not require your name, phone number, postal address, or other personal information to use the core PDF reading features. B. On-Device App Data To provide features such as Recent Files, Favorites, Categories, bookmarks, and Remember Last Page, the App stores certain document and application metadata locally on your device: File name, File URI or storage reference, File size, Thumbnail data, Last-read page, App preferences and organization data. This information is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. C. Biometric Authentication If you enable App Lock, Fast PDF Reader uses Android's system biometric authentication APIs. The App does not access, collect, or store your fingerprint or face data.
2. Third-Party Services
We employ third-party companies to facilitate our App and provide advertising. Advertising — Google AdMob Fast PDF Reader uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. When ads are displayed, Google and its advertising partners may process certain information from your device and your interaction with ads, subject to Google's applicable policies and your device, consent, and advertising settings.
3. Permissions
The App requires certain device permissions to function correctly: Storage Access Framework: Used to allow you to select and read PDF files from your device storage. Biometric authentication: Used only when you enable App Lock and choose biometric authentication. Internet Access: Required to load advertisements from Google AdMob.
4. Data Security
Fast PDF Reader uses Android's Storage Access Framework and scoped storage mechanisms to access files according to Android's permission and user-selection model. PDF documents are processed locally by the App and are not uploaded to our servers for PDF processing.
5. Children's Privacy
Fast PDF Reader is not directed specifically at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the App.
6. Privacy Rights and Choices
